Step 5:
In the layer control box right click on your diamond layer and choose Convert to Raster.
Step 6:
Make your Magic Wand the active tool and touch your diamond shape, then go Edit/Copy, then go Edit Paste as new selection Do Not Let Go of the diamond Until You have it in place next to the first diamond. Please make sure that the point on the left side actually "Touches" the point on the right of the original diamond.

Step 7:
Continue Pasting as new selection until you have seven diamonds across the top of your canvas. Please Do Not take a break and close PSP Before you complete Step 8. If you close PSP now you will have to draw another diamond and you won't be sure it's the exact same size.
Step 8:
Continue Pasting as New Selection only now go down the Left side of your canvas like below.
Save your work often remember that. If you need a break now would be a good time to take one.
Step 9:
Right click on the top layer and Duplicate it. Then go Image Mirror and then immediately go Image Flip. Don't worry that it does not look right in the Mirror it will look right again after you flip the layer.

Step 10:
Before you merge layers you must delete the "White" layer, so do that now. Make the white layer the active layer then right click on it and choose Delete. You can now choose any other layer and again right click only this time choose Merge/Visible.

Step 11:
It's time now to resize your square of diamonds. Go Image/Resize and use the settings below please.
don't forget to remove check mark in Resize all layers.
Step 12:
Go Effects/Reflection Effects/Kaleidoscope

Step 13:
Start with the settings used in the below screen shot. If you have followed exactly you should end up with the same look as I have shown under the settings.
