Step 6:
The first thing you should "Always" check when using a black and white image is to see if there are Any Breaks in the black that is all around your image. Do this by selecting your Magic Wand tool and touching anywhere outside of the image. Look and see if there are any parts of the image that are now Also selected inside of the image. If there is then you have to close them up. To do that make your foreground color black. Then magnify the image and look carefully all around the outside edges for the breaks then using your Paint Brush Tool close the gaps.
Fortunately for us there are no gaps in this image.
Step 7:
Touch in the upper left again if you deselected and then go Selections/Modify/Expand. When a new window opens type in the number one as shown.
Now hit your delete key on your keyboard a few times and remove the white background from your image.
Please save your image often so you don't loose any steps already completed.
